Zelenskyi noted that his team connected with representatives of the Brazilian leader when he held meetings in Europe with the Spanish and Portuguese. The President hoped to "take advantage of this time, because the distance is already shorter."
Commenting on the fact that the two leaders failed to meet at the G7 summit and the rumors that Ukraine was allegedly not interested in this, Zelensky said that "this is a delusion", "non-serious and non-objective people" say this. He noted that "something didn't work out at the G7, but it definitely didn't work out on our side."
"I am interested in meeting with President Lula. I think we need to talk. I need as many countries as possible to support Ukraine or not to support Russia in this situation, if they are not ready to support Ukraine, unfortunately. It is important for me that people understand all the details of what is happening," said Zelensky.
