The murderer has been detained, but the police are still interrogating possible witnesses, People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharenko said.

The Ukrainians killed by a Russian in the German town of Murnau were military personnel and were undergoing rehabilitation after being wounded. People's Deputy of Ukraine Oleksiy Goncharenko announced this on Sunday, April 28.

"It turned out that the killed were Ukrainian servicemen who were undergoing rehabilitation at a local clinic. The killer has been arrested, but police are still interviewing possible witnesses. This is just a terrible tragedy. Condolences to the relatives and friends of the victims," said the message of the People's Deputy.

Reports appeared on the network that the killer was a Z-patriot who openly supported Russian aggression and wore patches with the Z symbol.

It will be recalled that a Russian killed two Ukrainians in the Bavarian town of Murnau. A 36-year-old man died of severe stab wounds on the spot, and a 23-year-old boy was taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
