Ukraine received 600 tons of energy equipment

The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine announced the delivery of energy equipment weighing 600 tons

Recently, Ukraine received 42 shipments of humanitarian aid from international partners aimed at restoring the energy infrastructure. This is stated in a message on the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

The total weight of the delivered equipment exceeds 600 tons. Including more than 230 generators, a powerful high-voltage transformer, 880 tubs of transformer oil, more than 25 kilometers of wires and cables, main gas pipes and various electrical equipment were delivered.

Germany, Latvia, Norway, UAE, Ireland, Poland, Finland, Sweden, and the Netherlands delivered the cargo. The head of the department, Herman Galushchenko, noted that the equipment allows for faster restoration of objects damaged by shelling.

Earlier, the permanent representative of Great Britain to the OSCE, Neil Holland, announced the provision of an additional 150 million pounds ($187 million) to Ukraine to strengthen the energy sector, which suffered as a result of the strikes.

In the meantime, the Lithuanian authorities have offered to disassemble closed Soviet-made thermal power plants (CHPs) for spare parts and transfer parts from them to Ukraine so that the country can repair its CHPs. Currently, the parties are working on the issue.
