By 2025, education in Kazakhstan's colleges will become free

The head of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nasymzhan Ospanova, reported that there are 6.8 million children in the republic.

According to her, the new model of preschool education and training, implemented since 2022, shows positive results.

"The organization of the educational process through play and various activities creates optimal conditions for the physical, intellectual and personal development of children. In addition, in the field of preschool education, the development of an adapted program for teachers and parents on raising children from an early age has begun. The content of the program was developed taking into account cultural traditions and national values," said Ospanova.

In the republic, 3.8 million children study in seven thousand schools. The main problems in this field are the lack of educational places, three-shift and emergency schools. To solve these problems, the national project "Comfort schools" is being implemented. After its full implementation, all the above-mentioned problems will find their solution.

The main directions of the Ministry's activities are the availability of professional education for young people.

"Today, 80% of students study in colleges for free. By 2025, 100% is planned. In cooperation with business, various forms of interaction are used: dual training, patronage of enterprises over colleges, targeted state procurement, cluster training of personnel," said the head of the Committee.

Earlier, the head of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nasymzhan Ospanova told how the right of children to live and be brought up in a family is realized in the country.
