Taiwan's army detected the approach of 11 ships and 30 aircraft of the People's Republic of China
Taiwan's army recorded the approach of ships and aircraft of the People's Liberation Army of China (PLA) over the last day. This was reported by the Taiwanese Ministry of National Defense.
"As of six o'clock in the morning, a total of 30 planes and 11 ships were detected," the agency said in a statement.
The ministry emphasizes that 20 aircraft of the PLA have crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and thus entered the recognition zone of the island's air defense. In turn, the Armed Forces of Taiwan deployed combat aircraft, ships and coastal missile systems "for careful monitoring and response" to the event.
