Part of the opposition in the Parliament of Georgia announced the transition to boycott mode after the adoption of the law on "foreign agents".

Opposition parliamentary factions United National Movement (END) and Lelo in the Parliament of Georgia announced a boycott of parliamentary work in connection with the adoption of the law on "foreign agents". This was reported by NewsGeorgia on Tuesday, May 14.

Member of the END faction Levan Bezhashvili said that the majority of opposition deputies are going into boycott mode.

"In the near future, together with representatives of both the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition, we will present the final action plan to the public," he said.

The representative of the Lelo faction, Hanna Natsvlishvili, said that the members of her faction do not see the point of continuing to work in the parliament.

"Georgia's future is in NATO and the European Union," she said.
