Japan has imposed sanctions against one individual and nine legal entities from Russia for the supply of weapons from North Korea, which include freezing the assets of the companies. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan.

It is noted that the Japanese government strongly condemned Russia's purchase of weapons from North Korea. They noted that this is a violation of the relevant resolutions of the Security Council of the United Nations (UNSC), which prohibit the transfer and purchase of any weapons and related materials to and from North Korea.

The general director of the Russian state airline 224-year-old Volodymyr Mikheichyk and his company were sanctioned. Also – the Russian training ground Ashuluk and the command of military transport aviation of the Russian Federation.
