Macron said that he absolutely does not rule out sending troops to Ukraine.

Paris confirms its intention to send French military personnel to Ukraine. French President Emmanuel Macron made such a statement in an interview with The Economist magazine.

"Absolutely. As I already said, I do not rule anything out, because before us is someone who does not rule anything out," he answered the question whether the deployment of the French army in Ukraine is still being considered in the Elysée Palace.

Macron also reaffirmed his intention to continue to help Ukraine with weapons. At the same time, the head of state emphasized that preserving the authority of France forces him not to disclose all military plans.

At the end of February, Macron already suggested the possibility of sending Western ground troops to the territory of Ukraine.
